Guidelines Push Back Age for Cervical Cancer Tests - NYTimes.com
It’s a bad week for women’s health here in the states. I am not one for over testing or the over use of medical procedures I have know two women whose lives where saved because of Pap smears. I will continue to get one annually until I hit menapause. I was deemed too old to get the HPV vaccine and now I am too old to get regular Pap tests?
Between this news, the continuing debate over abortion coverage in the public option and the reduction in mammpgraphy tests, I am beginning to think that this administration really does not have the best interests of women in their public health policies.
Deep sigh of disappointment, again.
